Work Examples from a Campaign to Save Wild Horses
The images above are snapshots from an educational social media campaign raising awareness about the brutal use of helicopters to roundup wild horses and remove them from their wild homes. The social media campaign directed followers to a petition calling on the Bureau of Land Management to cease the cruel practice immediately. I developed this content, including a week of online action, as part of a wider campaign from the nonprofit Lady Freethinker. I also reported on the 2024 roundup in the article below.
Webpage Development
I fully developed the writing and design in this page. I also worked on and edited the report embedded inside the page. A video with a script I wrote is included. The campaign highlighted the cruelty animals suffer when they are used as props for forced photos in the tourism industry. The page also links to another page I created, detailing the common, cruel practices animals suffer in the industry, and encouraging supporters to sign their name to promise never to participate in the cruelty.
